Det ville også være en mulighed for at udtrykke din påskønnelse over for Antonio for den fantastiske honning han og hans bier har produceret til os.
Vi har fået honning fra Antonio Simon i over 10 år nu. Han var vores første økologiske biavler.
(Her er han sammen med Carmen, ikke et fantastisk billede, men det eneste jeg har. Dette var på en økologisk messe i Madrid en frostklar novemberdag for et par år siden.)
Antonio er en pioner inden for økologisk biavl i Spanien, en rigtig ekspert, der bekymrer sig dybt om bierne og kvaliteten af sin honning. Jeg kender ikke nogen anden biavler, der producerer sådan en bred vifte af økologisk honning og har så stor opmærksomhed på detaljer.
Mere end dette er han en dejlig fyr, virkelig venlig og hensynsfuld - og meget hjælpsom.
Lige nu har han bragt sin svigersøn Ruben ind i forretningen, formoder jeg med planen om at overdrage ham til sidst.
I hvert fald....
Jeg ringede til hans kontor for nylig og fik at vide, at han var på bryllupsrejse – det havde han, og hans partner Carmen var kun gået hen og blevet gift.
Mange af vores kunder kender og elsker Antonios honning, og jeg tænkte, at det ville være rigtig rart, hvis vi sendte ham og Carmen et lykønskningskort - og udtrykte også vores taknemmelighed over for ham for hans honning.

Please continue supplying your produce to Tim at the Raw Honey Shop as I intend to buy more of your raw honey in the near future & wiil never buy from any honey from a supermarket again.

It was many years ago now that I experienced your honey for the first time, at a stall run by Karen Puerta that looked much like the one in Tim’s photograph of Carmen and yourself.
